If you haven't already registered and paid, please do so as soon as possible.
Please bring a completed permission form with you to event.
The Boy Scout Troops need accurate participation numbers to plan for your Webelos Scout's food and programming.
The cost of this event for Webelos and their parent is $10 per person, plus $1 PayPal fee.
1 Webelos Scout = $11

Arrival Plan & Event Structure
Andover has 5 Boy Scout Troops. Each has been assigned to a Pack. The Boy Scouts, with guidance from their adult leaders, will guide your Webelos Scout and the rest of his Den through the entire Camporee. From arrival, to tent staking, advancement stations, meals, and flag ceremony, the Webelos Scouts will work with the Boy Scouts to learn camping skills, reach their goals, and have fun!
SATURDAY
1:00pm Arrival - Boy Scouts will greet you and direct you where to park and bring your gear.
1:00-2:00pm Setting up Tents - Boy Scouts will direct you to a camping location and provide assistance with tents if needed.
2-4:30pm Advancement Stations - Boy Scouts will lead 5 stations that will focus on the requirements needed to complete the Adventures and Awards. Each station will be approximately 30 minutes and the groups will rotate through each of the stations.
Stations are: 1) Leave No Trace 2) Knot Tying 3) Hiking 4) Fire Building 5) First Aid
4:30-6:30pm Cooking & Dinner with Boy Scouts - Webelos will work with their assigned Troop to prepare and cook their own dinner. Each of the Troops will have their own menu and cooking plan.
7:00pm Retire the Colors - All Scouts will come together to retire the flags for the evening. Scout Uniform Shirt should be worn for this ceremony.
7:30pm Bonfire Begins - We will building a big bonfire, with supervision from the Andover Fire Department. If your Webelos Scout has a song or skit to share, this is time!
10:00-10:30pm Bonfire Extinguished/"Lights Out"- Time to wrap up the evening. All Scouts retire to their tents.
SUNDAY
6:30am Reveille - Wake Up Call. Webelos Scouts make breakfast with their Troop.
8:00-8:30am Final Flag Ceremony - All Scouts will join together for the final flag ceremony of the event. Scout Uniform Shirt should be worn.
8:30-9:00am Camp Breakdown and Departure - Packing up and heading home.

The Virginia Hammond Reservation is located on High Plain Road, behind the Community Gardens and directly across from the Bald Hill Compost Site. There is no physical address for the property, however you can use the address for the Bald Hill Compost Site.
288 High Plain Road, Andover is the best address to use for GPS.
Carpooling is always the best way to go.
There is a small parking lot next to the Community Garden, however we will have much more parking inside the gate on the Virginia Hammond Reservation property. There will be overflow parking across the street at the Dog Park if needed.
